We like easy, quick, filling breakfasts. We love eating oatmeal for breakfast. Especially in the cooler months. Making a huge pot of oatmeal can take a lot of time in the morning. So I found a recipe and started making my own instant oatmeal mix. I have tweaked what I've made over the years and made my own mix. The taste good, is filling, and super fast to whip up for breakfast. I make a double batch every few weeks. With our size family we go through a double batch very quickly.

INSTANT OATMEAL

10 cups of quick cook oats

(6 cups whole, 4 cups powdered)

1/2 cup hemp heart seeds 1 tsp mineral salt 3 tsp Cinnamon 1 cup of brown sugar 1 cup of powder milk

Put 6 cups of whole oats in a large bowl. Put the other 4 cups of oats into a food processor with the 1/2 cup of hemp heart seeds. Turn on the food processor until the mix is powdered. Pour the powdered mixture into the bowl with the whole oats. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well. I store the mix in a large glass container. (Pictured above)

To make a bowl use a 1/2 cup of mix with 1/2 cup hot water.

Topping ideas: Craisins or Raisins Chopped Nuts Chocolate Chips
